International GCSE Classes in Accounting and Business - slower paced (aimed at 13 & 14 year olds)
Following the Edexcel International GCSE (9-1) syllabus at a slower non-pressured pace over two academic years. (as opposed to the accelerated one-year classes). Students who would like to do the classes without writing the exam are also very welcome.

FIRST YEAR LESSON ONE: Wednesday 9 September 2026
FIRST YEAR FINAL LESSON: Wednesday 28th April 2027*
SECOND YEAR LESSON ONE: Wednesday 8 September 2027
SECOND YEAR FINAL LESSON: Wednesday 26th April 2028
Time: Accounting 10am - 11am.
Business Studies 12pm - 1pm
There are 56 weeks of live classes; and 5 pre-recorded essential exam technique classes. Total of 61 lessons.
COST & BOOKING:
£10 per subject per week for early booking.
Total £610 per subject, payable by monthly direct debit.
Bookings received after 31st July will be subject to a 20% price increase.
These classes will prepare students for the May/June 2028 exam series.
Exam centre options include Faregos Home Education Exam Centre or numerous other options you may search for on the Home Ed Exams Wiki.
For International GCSES the October / November sittings are also an option.

Intro to Business Studies - RECORDINGS AVAILABLE

Who is it for?
(a) Students undecided about taking Business Studies at GCSE level and would like to get a feel for it first; or
(b) teens who would simply like to get a little grasp about how businesses function.
Class content is based on the Edexcel International GCSE syallabus
This was a live interactive class during June and July. The recordings are now available to purchase.
Duration: Five one hour lessons.
Cost: £50.
Classes have the tutor’s screen on and are a mix of lecture style content, videos, and discussion with student participation.
The course introduces students to:
• Business activity and influences on business. (Things like different types of businesses and their differing objectives; measuring success; reasons for failure)
• People in business (covering things like communication, recruitment, training, motivation)
• Business finance (why cash is so important)
• Marketing (the lifeblood of a business)
• Business operations (how businesses are run)
