This Bronze Arts Award project gets the student to:
- enhance their artistic skills and knowledge;
- explore the creative impact of classic literature; and 
- gain a broader understanding of the life, career, and work of the inspirational author George Orwell.

This project is self-paced (ie students work to their own schedule) however the DEADLINE FOR PORTFOLIO SUBMISSIONS is 12 months from signing up. The time period allocated allows ample time for the student to complete the project while juggling other classes and commitments.

​A pre-recorded art lesson (or batch of lessons) as chosen by the student, is provided, along with a step-by-step PDF work guide that details each different activity that must be completed for each of the four categories that make up a Bronze Arts Award.

COST is £149 per student.  

Students over the age of 14 may upgrade to a Silver Award for an extra £50 (please see below for the additional work required)

Animal Farm themed: Silver Arts Award Project 

In addition to all the above, this Silver Arts Award project also gets the student to:​

- Gain their own behind-the-scenes experience of working in the arts or literature industry;
- Explore further education and career pathways in the arts; and 
- PLAN and DELIVER an “Arts Leadership Project”

Students work on this project following their own timetable with a view to submitting their project within 12 months.

The student does not need to have completed a Bronze Award prior to starting this project, but must be sufficiently mature to manage the workload. There is approximately 95 hours of learning time required to complete a Silver Arts Award and it is a Level 2 qualification on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF)
